Apple picking wraps up for the season.

Another apple picking season has come and gone.  And it was a fantastic season!  We had fabulous weather and a good crop, what more can we ask for?  We enjoyed seeing a lot of familiar faces as well as meeting many few faces!  The Apple Market will still be open Tuesday – Sunday with ready picked apples while supplies last.  Check out our apple types & availability or give us a call to see what we have on the shelf.  We will continue to press fresh cider weekly until Christmas and we will have our delicious pies and dumplings available on weekends or by order.  Hope to see you soon!

Wine and Cider By the Glass

Just in time for the summer! We now have a licence to sell glasses of wine & cider. Enjoy the orchard views and a refreshing glass from one of our 6 picnic tables. No reservations – first come. And if you’re a little peckish, we can put together a small charcuterie of cheese, salami, crackers & olives. Sip back and relax!

Little Local Markets – June 25th

We are very excited to have Little Local Markets out at the orchard on June 25th for their Summer Soltice Market day!  Little Local Markets are all about connecting local businesses with local shoppers.  They will have 15+ unique vendors & charcuterie.  We will provide the wine sampling, kids play area & orchard views.  The market will run from 11 am – 3 pm & there is no admission cost.  Hope to see you here!

Honey Bee Orchard Blossom Walk

Rain Date Alert! Mother Nature & the bees have decided that Sunday May 21st for our Honey Bee Orchard Blossom Walk!  So, if you had the Saturday in your calendar – please change it to Sunday!

Farmer Fred and Billy Bee will guide you on a tour of the orchard in bloom.  Find out why pollinators are so important at blossom time. The event runs from 10 am – 4pm, tours are free and on the hour starting at 10 am with the last tour at 3 pm.  Meet local beekeepers from 3Beez.Buzz and shop for plants and goodies from the Veggie Shack.  Come and see what the buzz is all about!

Mother’s Day Celebrations

Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 14th from 10 – 5!

How does complimentary “Bellini’s & Bites” sound to celebrate this special day?  Join us any time on May 14th for our regular wine sampling plus some tasty extras! Our Hard Raspberry Cider or our Non-Alcoholic Apple Raspberry Cider both make a refreshing & tasty Bellini. And what’s Mother’s Day without chocolate?  You just have to try our Cherries ‘n’ Chocolate Wine as the finale! Cheers to all of the mothers, grandmothers and mother figures in our lives who treat us with kindness & love. We love you!

The Snow Birds have landed!

We had an amazing break with great weather & lots of family & friends time.

Old Man Winter has hung around to welcome us back but that’s OK.  Spring is just around the corner right?!?  Regardless, we’re rejuvenated & excited to get back to what we love doing. Pruning and bottling are on the agenda.  But what we’re most excited about is seeing you!  We’re now open Friday to Sunday from 10 – 5.  So drop on by & say hi!

 

 

 

 

‘Pop-up’ dates for January & February!

The winery is closed until March 3rd with the exception of 2 ‘pop-up’ dates.  We will be open Saturday January 21st & Saturday February 18th from 10am – 5pm.  Starting March 3rd we will be open every Friday – Sunday.  Happy wintering & hope to see you soon!

We had an amazing Christmas Market on December 6th!  Now it’s definitely the count down to the big day!  Are you ready?  We’ve got a great selection of Signature Holiday Baskets!  There are also many one of a kind baskets with wine, cider & non-alcoholic ciders to choose from in the Winery.  AND we love to custom make to suit your needs & budget.

Our store is full of lots other gift ideas too.  Crafts, preserves and many locally made treasures.  Speaking of local and treasures, why not make a day of it and visit some of our neighbour businesses that can all be found on A Country Path.  Holiday Shopping made easy!  Visit 5 of the 10 participants and fill out the passport for a chance to win a $200 basket!

We still have a few ready picked apples & cider is still being pressed weekly.  It’s great hot or cold for the Holiday Season.  Did you know you can freeze it?  Just remember to leave a little “head space” in your container for expansion!  Baking is available on weekends or by order.  Complimentary Wine & Cider tasting continues – first come, first served.

We’ll be open right up until 4 pm Christmas Eve before we close for a little break until March.  Cheers to celebrating the season!
